Literature Text

He's a man who lives up to his name.

Sirius.

However, it's not the kind of serious behavior that others expect from a youthful 28-year-old. His seriousness isn't based in attitude, but in dedication. He pays attention to only two things: his health and his sculptures.

His mother gave up on him a long time ago. She said that he was bound to get into financial trouble if he didn't become a lawyer or a doctor, like she had wanted him to be. He ignored her, and it turned out that she was right. His monetary luck turned sour, and he soon found himself struggling to keep up with his house payments—or, rather, his apartment payments.

As an attempt to save himself from crushing debt, he places an add on the internet for a renter to help him pay the bills. When he gets an immediate reply, he eagerly invites the young, recent college graduate into his house and gives him a room. But this boy isn't what he first thought—he's 100% blind in both of his eyes.

The laid-back sculptor suddenly is overcome with a strange feeling of responsibility. He wants to take care of this boy, no matter what it takes. Concern turns to adoration, and adoration turns to romance, as the artist slowly teaches blind beauty to "see", even if it isn't with his eyes. As he does this, he realizes that it's not only him that is changing someone's life forever.
I was kinda stumped on how I should write this summary, but then I ate a chicken salad sandwich, and for some odd reason it inspired me.

Short story time!!!
